Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am currently in a foster home and not at HSNBA, if you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. E-mail HSNBA at adoption@hsnba.org, call us at: (830) 629-5287 or stop by and speak with the folks at HSNBA at 3353 Morningside Dr. to get your information sent over to my foster home. My foster family is the best and can give you more information on me.
Meet Diesel, a 1-year-old XL Bully mix with a heart of gold. Rescued after being abandoned, Diesel quickly won over his foster family with his gentle demeanor and excellent manners around kids and a baby. Despite his size, he's remarkably calm, settling down when needed but always up for playtime with his favorite toys. Learning leash manners is his latest challenge, but his willingness to learn and adapt shines through, proving he can be a beloved member of the household.
If you are interested in meeting Diesel, reach out and we can get him up to the shelter at anytime!HSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight. Some of these animals may not be available for adoption at this moment, but you can always call the shelter at 830-629-5287 for clarification on the adoption process or the animal's current status.

Cats are $60
Dogs are $120
All adoptions are spayed/neutered, vaccinated with age appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and ticks, dewormed for common intestinal parasites, and microchipped.
Adopters must be at least 18 years old. If you don't own your residence, you must provide a copy of the lease agreement stating that you're able to own animals. We will check your animal control history and there is about 15-20 minutes worth of paperwork before you can take your animal home.
