My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Let me introduce you to “Leonardo de Caprio,” or Leo for short. Leo is a three-year-old neutered male current on all his vaccinations and weighs 9.5 lbs.

He came to the rescue through no fault of his own because his owner could no longer keep him because she needed to move into an apartment, and her hours at work increased. She felt it best to surrender him to RMYR in the hope of finding the perfect home so that he could spend more time with his new owners and give him all the attention he deserves.

Leo can be full of energy or just laid back. He loves sleeping in his wire kennel at night and sleeps all night. He is not fond of sleeping in bed with his humans. During the day, he can be your lap dog or sit on the back of your chair or couch. Should you decide to lie down, he will lie next to you.

He is housebroken, eats like a champ, walks nicely with his harness, and rarely barks. Leo is very intelligent and will come and whine or paw at you when he needs something, such as going out, getting a treat, sitting by you, etc. Leo loves a yard to play and run in and playing with his toys, primarily balls.

We are requesting a stay-at-home parent or an adult who works from home. He must have a fenced yard. As our website says, “No children under the age of ten.” NO apartment or Condo living for this active and curious boy.
