Meet the sweet and adorable Roxie. She is an 8 month old German Shorthair Pointer mix who weighs 38lbs. Roxie knows how to have a good time and she’s looking for a family to share in the fun. She loves her toys but would be happy to share them with you. She will chase balls as long as you are wiling to toss them. Roxie walks well on a leash and would enjoy taking nice long walks or hikes. She is crate trained and would not mind sharing her home with another dog. Roxie is well behaved and will be a wonderful addition for a family who has time to spend with her. If you are not located near our rescue or if the drive is a problem for you, please still apply, as we bring animals out to as far as San Diego in order to bring them to their forever homes. Currently, we are driving animals far out on an as-needed basis!

We will then evaluate and see if your home is fitting for the dog or cat that you're interested in!

Meet the Pet
We then set up a time for you to meet the pet! We're willing to travel to wherever you're located, but at the shelter is preferable.
4.
Sign Adoption Contract
Sign the adoption contract and fill out paperwork.
5.
Pay Fee
Our adoption fee is $350 for dogs and puppies, $159 for cats, and $175 for kittens. More info on what the fees cover in our fees section.
6.
Take the Pet Home

We help find homes for homeless dogs and cats, care and protect neglected and abused animals. We are working to end the suffering and mistreatment of dogs and cats in Southern California. We bring spay and neuter services to areas where families cannot afford them; we facilitate the rescue, foster care, and adoption of animals whenever possible, and we offer education and support to those involved in the care of animals.
