My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fluffy, gorgeous, Maine Coonish in looks, Amelia is a sweetheart ready for her own family.

Amelia is a young girl who went through the passage of adulthood by being a mom too soon. But she was a great mom to her babes and now they are old enough for her to move on with finding her own place in the world.

She is playful. She loves the laser light and as she has more freedom from tending to kittens, she finds more fun things to do. And she shows more and more how much she loves her people. She sleeps in bed with her humans most nights. Loves attention, pets, cuddles. And she loves her wet food!

Amelia does not seem to do well with other animals. It’s possible that she is still in defensive mode from being her babies’ protector. But in her foster home, she prefers to be apart from others. So she will need a place where she can have lots of love from her humans without other critters around. She does love to go outside and will need a place to safely explore and hunt a bit when the weather is warm again.
