For many years he was loved by a family, but after an accident resulted in a tail injury his family could no longer care for him. Despite having a partial tail amputation, Scruffy's spirit remains unbroken, and he approaches life with a zest for love and companionship. His playful side emerges whenever a toy mouse or wand is involved and his food-driven nature makes him a prime candidate for clicker training.
