Meet Riley!

Riley is a sweet, beautiful young kiddo with a mesmerizing swirl pattern on his coat which he likes to show you by rolling over on his side and posing like the model he (thinks he) is. Both he and his brother, Lennox, can provide some structural integrity to your household, sitting on shelves like bookends to observe the birds out the window.

Riley is the perfect cat for someone who needs a no-fuss, low-maintenance companion in the household. He would love to be adopted with Lennox, but he also may be adopted on his own but he will need another young cat to keep him company. He has been exposed to other cats and would do well in a household with older children too. He’s shy and needs to get to know you first before he can let you into his inner circle. Once you’re in that circle, he’ll repay you by gazing at you with his beautiful, loving eyes, and coming up for gentle head scratches.

Riley is tender and sweet. He adores chasing his little crinkly toys across the room and then hiding them so he can go look for them again. He doesn’t like being held, but will tolerate it because he’s just that sweet! Really, he’s an old soul in a tiny cat’s body. He’ll be a gentle, welcoming presence to your house and is available for adoption today.

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
