If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Cruz was found on the side of the road in August 2023. He stayed at the Pender County Animal shelter for a week before I adopted him. The vet says he’s estimated to be about 2 years old now. He's great with dogs, cats and children. Cruz has tons of energy and would love a back yard but is used to the apartment life. He knows basic commands and is potty trained. I have DNA test results for him and he’s mixed with 18 different breeds! The main breeds being Labrador Retriever, Bloodhound and American Pitbull Terrier. Cruz is the sweetest dog and has never shown aggression.
