Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bahkti!
This young, super chill, Great Pyrenees Mix is approximately 60lbs and is a year old. He showed up at a residence and wouldn’t leave. He was posted for weeks and an owner was searched for with no luck. The residents were able to keep him in a pen until the Hickman Humane-Society stepped in and found him a foster. Bahkti is a sweet dog who loves to be outside and will be devoted to his new owner, which is how he earned his name. Bahkti- devouted to…
He walks well on a leash, is good in the car and has good manners. He is a quick learner, he can sit, lay, and knows leave it. He likes other dogs and would do best having another canine friend but not necessary if he gets the attention he needs from his human family. He has also done well with cats and chickens. He does not bark very often like most Great Pyrs but will if he feels something is wrong. Bahkti loves belly rubs and playing with his toys. He is crate trained and has not had any accidents indoors. In typical Great Pyr fashion he does need a fenced in yard that he can not dig out of if he is the only animal and left alone. Please share this handsome fella, let’s find the perfect home for Bahkti! He is fully vetted, neutered and just waiting for his forever! Since ALL of our funding is from donations (we are not supported by a government agency), fundraising and a few spay/neuter grants, we always need monetary donations and food and supply donations including straw and bedding material. With winter coming we could really use some more dog houses and tarps (used is welcome). Used crates are also always needed. Pick up can be arranged within a reasonable distance. Thank you for your support.
