My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Lucy is a special 58lb senior pup ready for a nice, quiet home where she can retire and get some TLC! This sweet gal appreciates getting pets and snuggles from her human friends and loves to tell you all about her day. Lucy has been reported to be house trained, sweet, cuddly, and loves looking out the window. Lucy has met other dogs while in our care and she has done really well! She loves to play with other dogs though her senior joints may appreciate a more mellow canine sibling. She also spent some quality time with a foster parent, and here's what they had to say about her: "Lucy is a sweet, senior girl with a gentle soul. She loves to spend time with her people, simply being in the same room with you. When she isn't keeping you company, she likes to spend time outside. She enjoys taking leisurely walks with her nose to the ground so she can smell everything. She also enjoys rolling in the grass, looking out the window, and frequent naps.
Lucy has good manners: she "asks permission" before getting on the couch or bed, stands still when you put on her collar and leash, sleeps through the night, and is housebroken. She also does well meeting new people; she'll stop walking when she sees a person and wait expectantly to be pet." What more could you ask for from a canine companion? Come meet Lucy today!
