Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jezebel!
Jezebel is old dog perfection - she's sweet, friendly, and the cutest lil girl around. She was surrendered to animal control in January due to her owner losing their home. Jezebel loves playing with her toys and she's sit (mostly) patiently for a treat. This sweet lady quickly became a staff favorite here and can often be found relaxing and playing in our reception area. She takes her job seriously and is always up to greet staff and volunteers as they enter the building.
She has lived with small dogs before but doesn't like bigger ones. We are unsure about how she would do with cats. She doesn't have a known history with children, but she is very friendly and polite so would likely do well with them. Jezebel does require a consult with our vet to go over her medical history as she did have a number of benign tumors removed.
**if you are interested in meeting Jezebel, please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and come in during our open hours (Wednesday-Sunday, 12-4)**

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
