Pogchamp is a super-playful and explorative kitten who was rescued from the outdoors as the December weather was negatively impacting her litter's health.

You honestly wouldn't know that she was feral. Whatever you are up to, she is excited to help, whether sitting on your lap to watch a movie with you, or biting your computer monitor during online meetings!

The common rule of thumb that you always rescue kittens in pairs applies doubly to Pogchamp, as she is constantly wrestling with her siblings, and anything else she can get ahold of. While she has not been a particular hazard in her foster home with siblings, she would be miserable and very destructive as an only pet.

Luckily, she has a sibling, TT the cowardly void, who is strongly bonded to her and relies on her to go first exploring things, greeting humans, and generally establishing the safety of the environment for him. We would love to keep this bonded pair together as TT moderates Pogchamp's energy while Pogchamp encourages TT to be brave for all humans and cats to be much happier together. Our application is available on our website or at our adoption fairs. We do deliveries of our cats to their new homes to help ensure a successful transition.

We hold adoption fairs at Petsmart Campbell (CA) almost every Saturday, noon to 4pm; as well as at Petsmart Coleman (San Jose, CA) on one weekend a month.

More about this rescue

13th Street Cats is an all volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of feral and social cats and reducing the population by TNR – Trap, Neuter, Return in Santa Clara County. Kittens and cats that can be socialized are taken into foster care while waiting adoption. With a no kill philosophy, 13th St Cats is pleased to be able to rescue these homeless animals who might otherwise end up in a local kill shelter, helping to reduce euthanasia rates.
