My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lyla!

Lyla is a beautiful little girl that is approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 8 pounds. She appears to be a cute little poodle. She was rescued in terrible condition and had to be shaved completely down. She is also a little underweight but is a good eater so we will get her to her ideal weight of approximately 10 pounds in no time. She is from the Weslaco shelter in south Texas near the border of Mexico. We don’t know how she ended up in the shelter but we are so happy she is here with us to find a loving, forever home.

Lyla is a sweet and happy dog! She loves everyone she meets and her tail is always wagging. She enjoys running around outside and equally enjoys curling up on a lap. She is in a foster home with other dogs and gets along well with them. She likes to be the leader so would do best with dogs who are submissive. She is social and would love a family to take her on walks and other adventures. She is just an all-around happy-go-lucky gal and will make a wonderful addition to any family!

Lyla is located in a foster home near San Antonio, Texas and is available for transport to Columbus, Ohio on April 13, 2024. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $400. The fee includes the transport cost.
