Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Reuben and Mabel are teenaged kitten siblings who were cared for in someone's yard until they were able to catch them and get them fixed. They are still nervous around people that they don't know and are in a foster home so that they can learn to love people. The family that cared for them when they were outdoors was able to easily pet them so we know that they will come around again!
Our hope is to keep together as a pair and half of their adoption fee is sponsored to make sure that happens.

Adoption fees vary by age and breed. Fees cover spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchip.

Adoption process requires an interview with adopter, ad adoption agreement, plus spay/neuter deposit if animal is not spayed/neutered.

Cats over 1 year old: $125
Kittens: $175
Senior cats 7 years and older: $75
Dogs and puppies: $350-1200 depending on breed
Senior Dogs: $250-$450 depending on breed

More about this shelter

Jelly's Place is a rescue and No-kill shelter founded in 2017 to be an advocate for the lives and dignity of urban animals who are homeless, abandoned, impounded, sick, or injured, by providing responsible care, placement, and community education. Its founder, Julie Bainbridge, has been rescuing and fostering animals since childhood. She has rescued, fostered, and /or raised all kinds of animals, including baby squirrels, raccoons, pigeons, chickens, geese, ducks, skunks (yes- skunks), wild and tropical birds, pigmey goats, mice, snakes, rabbits, dogs, and cats. Some animals are cared for by volunteers in their homes.
Jelly's Place is named in memory of her beloved English Bulldog who crossed over the Rainbow bridge in 2016. Jelly's Place is a 501 (3)(c) nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible.
Jelly's Place depends on donations, grants, and volunteers to foster and care for animals.
