KIrby is a love bug who likes to snuggle and lick your face! He's a handsome and smart 50 lb boy who was born on 06/23/23. He would love to have another dog in his life to play with, but he would do well as an only dog as long as his family has time for him. As with any young dog, he sometimes gets distracted about doing his business and needs reminding. ***Kirby is currently enrolled in Beginner Obedience at Petsmart and is doing great!***
He loves to play with toys and is content to play with them on his own for a while, but he loves to be where his people are. His favorite toys are squeaker ones and those that he can chew on. He loves to play fetch and zoom around the yard with his (bio and foster) brother. Kirby lives with cats but the cats have plenty of places to escape. He is fascinated with cats and likes to sniff them and play. He is great with little ones (foster parents have grandchildren ages 1 and 4). He thinks diapers smell delicious and baby hands and faces need to be licked!
Our rescue organization adopts within the following states: Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana and Missouri. A fully fenced yard is required to be considered for adoption (no underground fencing). All our dogs are spayed/neutered and have been fully vetted and are current on vaccinations.
