Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you can’t decide between adopting a little bear cub or an adorable puppy then Dolly is for you! Dolly is a 16-week old, ~15 lb lab mix pup. With her sweet face and the most precious disposition you will wonder how you ever got along without her in your life. She loves to cuddle, play and explore, and Dolly would love a fur sibling (dog or cat) and older kids who can be gentle with this tiny girl would be fun too. Isn’t it time to fill your home with lots of puppy joy? Dolly is vaccinated and microchipped.
We require adopters to have a safe and secure backyard - not electric or Fido fences as they are not as safe at containing dogs or keeping other animals or people out. For these reasons we do not adopt to homes with electric or Fido fencing.
The adoption fee is $675 which includes age appropriate vaccines, microchip, monthly flea, tick and heart worm preventatives at time of adoption and age appropriate spay/neuter.

More about this rescue
Gimme Shelter Animal Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit organization based on Long Island NY. We rescue dogs and puppies who are at risk of being euthanized in high-kill facilities across the South. Every animal we rescue is quarantined where they get vaccinated and given any medical attention needed to get them healthy. We then transport the animals up to NY where they go into our wonderful foster homes until we find them all pre screened loving forever homes. We will adopt out-of-state on a case by case basis, including, but not limited to, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Pennsylvania.
Our goal is to find the best possible homes for our animals, to ensure a life-long loving commitment. We are dedicated to the well-being of our animals. One by One until there are none!
