My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Noa was found abandoned only a couple days old. So we took him in and bottle-fed and raised him into happy and healthy kittens he is today. Noa is a super cuddly guy and loves attention and affection. He is playful and would do well in a home with other kitties or cat-friendly dogs.

If you're in Jamaica we can send the location for the Haven. If not we have an adoption database that has some of our adoptable animals. We're adding more everyday but we also share our other adoptables on our social media.

More about this shelter

We are a small animal shelter and rescue in Jamaica. We're run completely on donations and we have over 170 animals in our care. We began in 2009 to try and help stray animals across the island get off the dangerous streets and find forever homes or live out their lives with us. We have sent 144 dogs to Canada in partnership with Save our Scruff at the beginning of 2021 and we've sent many others away to individual homes also. We work with people with existing reservations to transport the dogs or cats to the states or Canada. We also work with people who come to Jamaica and want to adopt one of our rescues to take home when they leave. We're a no-kill shelter and we take in more than we adopt out. Unfortunately local adoptions aren't common so we rely on international adoptions primarily.
