My name is Dexter!

Everyone meet the sweetest boy there is! Dexter has the most loving personality. He took a little bit to decompress and feel safe in his foster home but he has really made himself right at home now. He loves to play with toys, his foster sister, or his humans and is always happy to chew a bone. He is really learning how to “dog”. Walks are a favorite part of his day, getting to explore and sniff the big wide world. And then he snuggles his way into your lap for a snooze because it’s exhausting being a big pup. He is definitely still growing into his limbs and looks clumsy sometimes, he also thinks he’s a 10 pound lap dog. Super food driven, so training has been easy. He has shown a couple moments of resource guarding with special bones or hand fed treats when his foster sister is present, so we are working on that. He has mastered potty training and is loving his crate!
