We adore Dorie! This girl is the definition of loyal. She loves spending time with people and will lovingly follow wherever they go. Dorie also enjoys exploring and going on walks. After said adventures, she loves to curl up on the couch for a good nap :). She also enjoys spending time with dogs at the shelter as well! Dorie is working on her confidence and would love to find a companion that will support and reassure her in her growth! One way to Dorie's heart is through cheek and chin scratches, which are a favorite of hers. This angel is waiting to meet you at our Madison location, so don't wait another minute!

Our adoption center is located at 575 Woodland Avenue in Madison, New Jersey. We are open for adoption on a walk-in basis daily 1:30-6 pm (Thursdays 3-6 pm). If you arrive after 5:30, there is a possibility we may not be able to complete an adoption that day. Please note that we cannot put animals on hold.

St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of animals. It operates animal shelters in Madison, North Branch and Ledgewood, New Jersey and one of the largest professional dog training and behavior centers in the country at its Madison campus. Humane Education and community outreach assistance are among its programs offered to the community. St. Hubert’s also provides animal control services by contract in several municipalities in proximity to the shelters.
