This adorable, loving girl is Saturn. She is estimated to be about a year old, but is really an old soul. Her favorite things to do are watch the birds and squirrels from the window and sniff around in the yard. She doesn’t get too excited about anything, except when it’s time to eat and when she greets her people. When her foster dad gets home from work, her face lights up with a huge smile. She is doing great at potty training, loves her kennel, and enjoys being around her doggie friends. Saturn was dropped off at a vet clinic in Mississippi, so little is known about her first year. She was most likely not treated so nicely at some point, as she can be a bit skittish at times. Once she knows she is safe, she is all cuddles and kisses. Saturn has this calmness to her that is a rarity in young dogs, a nice little walk and a lot of love are all this sweet girl needs in her forever home. Her breed is a mystery, she has double dew claws on her back legs, a long lean body, and a pretty big noggin. A successful adoption depends on the selection of the right pet for your household and your understanding of your responsibility of adopting a rescued animal. Our adoption procedures have been designed to make sure all rescued Sandi Paws pets are placed in an appropriate, loving forever home, and to make sure all adopters find the right fit for their family. Prior to adoption, all dogs and cats will be given all age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, kennel cough, parvo and distemper, spaying/neutering, intestinal deworming, heartworm testing/treatment, microchipping, and monthly heartworm medication and flea prevention.
Note: We will adopt pets outside of Wisconsin if we can do necessary background and reference checks and the adopters agree to provide necessary follow up information. Also, the adopting family must agree to travel to pick up the pet and agree to transport them back to Wisconsin if they need to be returned at any time.
