**Hello, I'm Aubrey.**

I am a sweet girl, but feeling quite overwhelmed and scared here at the shelter. All the barking and bustling activity around me has me on edge, and it's hard for me to come out of my shell. But let me tell you, I'm really hoping to find a quiet, patient home where I can learn to trust and feel safe.

Getting leashed up was a big step for me with the help and understanding from a kind person here at the shelter. Treats are definitely the way to my heart, and a peaceful spot to hang out in sounds like a dream come true.

Although I'm not fully shut down out of my kennel, I'm generally very scared and cautious so far. I'm hoping to find a family-either foster or adoptive-who will take things slow with me, understanding that I need time to build my confidence.

As my shelter family gets to know me better, they promise to update my bio. For now, I'm just here, hoping and waiting for that special someone to come along and give me the extra TLC and patience I truly need and deserve.
