Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey there, my name is Nick. I am a sweet and super affectionate 2-year-old neutered male, 32 lb. beagle mix who enjoys snuggling on the couch laying my head on my foster mom’s lap. I am a happy go lucky dog who shadows my foster mom unless my foster brother, Max, is up to playing in the backyard - especially if it involves chasing squirrels. I am very curious about my foster cat brother, following him around to watch as Panther swats things off countertops. I do great with my foster siblings and wish they would play more. So, I would absolutely love it if you had a playmate for me. I am full of energy and love going for walks, playing with my toys, and chomping on my bully sticks. I absolutely love playing tug of war with my canine foster brother. I am smart. Not only is my foster mom amazed how quickly I figure out food puzzles, but I also know how to sit and stay. And I know to only chew on my beloved chew sticks, which for me are better than a good sock or furniture. Of course, I am crate trained and housebroken. I am full of energy and do well with other dogs. I really would like to be friends with my foster cat brother. Unfortunately, Panther has other ideas. I am a great watchdog. I enjoy people and dog watching, letting my foster mom know whenever anyone approaches the door. I do like to dig in the back yard; however, my foster mom is working with me to stop because she likes to garden and doesn’t need my help digging holes. My ideal owner will have a yard for me to run around and a playmate. I don’t think I would be good with small children because I am so rambunctious and possessive with my chew sticks and toys. When my foster mom picked me up, we discovered that I was heartworm positive. I am such a trooper that I dealt with the painful treatment but bounced back in no time at all!! I am truly a sweetheart and know when you meet me, you will feel the love my foster mom feels for me.
