Barbie bio- Introducing a beautiful, loving, perfectly sized GSD, not too big, not too little. Sweet Barbie arrived with another female shepherd mix. She came to us pregnant and a bit afraid of some of the dogs in the shelter. With the patience of volunteers, Barbie learned to relax with the other dogs, and even enjoyed herself, remembering life before the shelter with her doggie friend. Barbie makes the most of her time with people and can’t get enough love and attention from them. Everyone enjoyed going in to spend time with her. She also made the most of her time with a toy when out in the exercise yard, having a blast de-fluffing it! Something she hadn’t been able to do in a long time. I had the pleasure of taking a drive with Barbie to return her to our other facility, but was not warned about the sweet kisses I would get on my cheek as we were driving. As if her gentle smile and shoulder to shoulder snuggles wasn’t enough… She made it extremely difficult to drive away from her. Such a sweet beauty, waiting for her very own family, or person, to come save her.
