Brief Bio Stevie came to the shelter in March 2024 and was diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) which causes her to have uncoordinated movement. During her time in foster, I found her CH to be very mild. She can still walk and run normally and use her litter box, but you will notice a slight wobble in between. A home that can provide her accommodation to refrain from climbing high objects such as a cat tree is recommended. You can see more of Stevie on instagram: @fellowfosters
Summary of Personality Stevie is an affectionate cat who loves to play and be held. Her favorite toy is her mouse and loves to carry it around with her. She is an easy going cat especially with things like nail trimming. Stevie has built so much confidence since she came into foster. She was initially skittish to loud sounds and sudden movement, but was quick to regulate. Slow introductions to change is recommended for her.
Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc) Stevie had done well with my adult resident cats and my German shepherd dog. She is mindful of their space and initiates play. Stevie has not met kids during her stay with me, but I think she will do fine with them.
