My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Jack John. I am just 3 years old and 8 pounds. I was found in a crate by the side of the road with another dog. I am so thankful to be alive and to have found my way into the Angels Among Us Pet Rescue. I have made so much progress in my foster home - pretty much mastered potty training (on a schedule), and I am okay when you leave me at home *but not too long*! I enjoy the company of other dogs, but I'd prefer to be an only dog if I had the choice (because I'd prefer not to have to share). I would do best in a quiet home without a lot of chaos or small kids, and dream of a yard to get my zoomies out in!!

One little "quirk" that you need to know about is my criminal history. Ya see...what happened was this...I found a fabulous adopter and was so happy there, but one day when I was curled up in their lap sleeping and they went to move me to get up, I bit their hand. This never happened with my foster mom, so I'm not sure if I was just scared or what... I am definitely sorry... but i might do it again. So now I'm searching for my real forever home. One that can figure out my little quirks and still love me .

The first step in adopting or meeting any of our dogs is to fill out an adoption application on https://angelsrescue.org/
Your application will be assigned to a volunteer on our adoption team who will contact you to discuss it. Please allow us at least 3 business days to contact you. We require a meet and greet with your current dogs (if applicable) and all family members (if possible) and a home check. Please note: Puppies under 4 months are not currently available for adoption outside the state of Georgia.
