My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Belle, a Sweet and Independent Gal!

Looking for a furry friend who enjoys lounging but also has some playful pep in her step? Belle might be your perfect match!

Here's the scoop on this delightful pup:

  • Age: around 8 years young

  • Previous Situation: exbreeder mama

  • Good with: Other dogs, adults, elderly, men (though she might need some warming up initially), women

  • Not a huge fan of: Small children (under 12)

  • Activities: Enjoys running around the yard, the occasional game with other dogs, and relaxing on the couch (more of a couch potato these days!). While not a big cuddler, she'll happily share the sofa for some quality human time.

  • Training: Still a work in progress! She's learning leash manners and basic commands like "come."

  • Potty training: Needs a patient adopter to continue her potty training journey. She currently uses puppy pads.

  • Other details: Doesn't shed, rarely barks, and hasn't shown any destructive behaviors. Shares her food with other dogs. Travels well in a car (based on short trips). Can be a little anxious about being touched, but we're making great strides!

Ideal home:

  • Another dog for her to play with!

  • Fenced yard for safe outdoor fun.

  • Someone home most of the day is ideal, but can handle moderate alone time.

  • Older children (over 12) welcome!

  • Apartment or condo living is fine.

Belle is a sweetheart who's blossoming in her foster home. With a little patience and love, she'll be a wonderful companion!

Please apply if you are interested in Belle!

Go meet their pets

Our rescues are with fosters on the east coast. The location in which the foster resides should be listed with each profile.

We are setting up some adoption events now, but are free for private meet and greets if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets!

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
