What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Rocky is a ~4 years old husky mix. He is a loving, energetic, and goofy boy who tends to match the energy of his caretakers, whether relaxed or moving. He loves walks (harnessed and leashed) and squirrels. He's not great with other dogs, but he's very good with our two house cats. He is potty and crate trained.
He is fixed and vaccinated. He is currently being treated for valley fever (contracted in Arizona prior to us adopting him). He takes 1 pill a day and has 4 more months left on his treatment. Price per bottle is about $40 a month at Costco pharmacy. His mobility and activity are not affected by his fever since treatment started.
We need to rehome Rocky due to our changes in our work and health. We can no longer provide the environment he deserves.
We want to make sure he goes to a safe house where he will have access to a yard or be close to a park.
