Why I need a new home

Does not get along with other pet

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Conrad is a 16 year old neutered male. Conrad is very kind and loving once he gets to know you. He can be shy, but warms up quickly as long you are patient and gentle on approach. We’ve had Conrad since he was 4 months old. He’s always been an indoor kitty. We adopted him along with his biological brother in 2008 in Brooklyn NY. His brother passed away in 2017. A year later we adopted another cat so Conrad could have a companion. Unfortunately, they
never got along despite our best efforts. We’ve managed to keep the peace (somewhat) between the two cats, typically by keeping them separated at night (to avoid fighting).

Since having a baby in 2022, it has been a challenging environment for Conrad. Our modest home has limited space to separate 2 cats who don’t get along while also keeping the safe space for our son. He’s not aggressive to people but he’s been more anxious and stressed and sometimes chases our other cat who has asthma.
