It will only take a few minutes for you to agree that Lalo Dixon is just the bestest boy.
This sweet boy is currently 22 lbs, almost 4 months old, and we think he may be a Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his/her life as well as the life of another in its place.
Lalo Dixon is such a friendly, gentle boy. He was rescued with his sister (Lala Dixie) and was her protector when on the streets. Despite his rough start, he treats everyone as a friend and doesn’t seem to have the stranger danger that is normal at this age.
Lalo is cautiously inquisitive to his surroundings and wants to explore everything! He will come running right back to you tho, because he is entirely convinced that he is a lapdog whose sole job is deliver kisses and snuggles.
The first thing you will notice about Lalo is his super soft shiny black coat and distinctive white markings –such a distinguished gentleman. He has adorable white socks (feet) with one white sleeve, and a gorgeous white chest. And of course you can’t help but notice the cutest white patch on his nose! His eyes are vibrant and soulful – this puppy will capture your heart right away with his expressions and personality.
Lalo is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, he will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood.

Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport.
Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
*WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health.
*To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs.
