My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Bailey Blue to CCPAL Foster Program. She is a 4-year-old and appears to be a pure bred Siberian Husky. She is a little bit chunky at 75 pounds. She is a beautiful Red and White husky with light blue eyes. She is good with dogs her size and smaller dogs. She was very tolerant of a little dominant boy dog that fell in love with her at the Rescue. She has lived in a home with children successfully. She is also around cats but all time with them is supervised. She is potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She does not jump up on you which is nice. She has a beautiful coat that will need regular brushing to stay looking beautiful. We would love a previous husky owner for her new family. She would love to live in the cooler more northern climates as she has a beautiful full coat to fully enjoy this type of weather. She would be fine with children and we like them to be 8 or older. Husky dogs need a good fenced yard. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont, Conneticut or all along the East Coast. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. More about this shelter

C.C.P.A.L. seeks to reduce the enormous problem of pet overpopulation in Bandera County We promote low-cost spay/neuter programs; advise on basic health care & proper shelter for pets & offer excellent dog obedience classes several times each year. Since 2002, CCPAL has rescued nearly 5,000 animals. We are in constant need of foster homes for these pets until we find them homes. Our pets are in kennels on an acreage in Texas. We can use a transporter to get them outside of Texas if we find a great home.
