Hello there! My name is Sunny Ray, and let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I may have had a rough start, but now I'm basking in the joy of being a beloved pet.
I was rescued from the streets, literally on the brink of starvation. But thanks to the kindness of the Good Humans @ TLP, I've been given a second chance at life. And let me tell you, I'm making the most of it!
One of my favorite things in the world is making new friends, especially furry ones like me. I get along great with other dogs, and I'm always curious to meet new pals. Cats don't really catch my interest, though. As for tiny humans, I haven't been around them much, but when I have, I've been told I'm pretty good company.
I'm a big fan of my crate-it's like my own little sanctuary. And I'm not one to make a fuss, so you won't hear a peep out of me when I'm in there. My energy level is just right for lounging around, but I do enjoy some mental and physical stimulation to keep me on my toes.
When it comes to walks, I'm not one to chase after things. I prefer to take in the sights and smells at a leisurely pace. And while I'm still learning the ins and outs of playtime, I'm a quick learner and always eager to please.
I'm a social butterfly when it comes to humans, but I'm not the clingy type. I love a good adventure, whether it's a car ride, a hike, or just soaking up the sun in the yard. And don't even get me started on spa days-I'm all about that pampered life!
Toys are my absolute favorite. I'll carry them all around the house, playing and goofing off wherever I go. And when it's time to unwind, you'll often find me on my back, tossing my toys in the air like a true pro.

We are a foster/volunteer based 501c3 nonprofit dog rescue in Dallas, Texas. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pit bull type dogs in shelters and on the streets through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy.
Our goal is to educate the public about a breed that often falls victim to breed specific legislation, discrimination, and cruelty and promote responsible pet ownership through spay/neuter initiatives, vaccinations, and training resources.
