Alejandro was found in a very bad situation. Abuse and neglect were suspected. He is learning to trust humans again. He will need a very quiet and calm home. No young children to scare him. No large or hyper dogs either. He is good with other calmer dogs and dog savvy cats. Noises and fast movements cause him to pee... so patience and love is what he needs. Training would be great to help give him the confidence he is lacking. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.

Alejandro is a super sweet guy who had a really hard life prior to rescue. He takes a few days to get used to things and a calm/quiet enviroment until he has adjusted would be ideal. Once he adjusts he is super playful. He is timid initally, but once he knows you are not going to hurt him he is a total love bug. He loves toys; plush ones are his favorite. He likes tummy rubs once he has gotten over being shy. You won't reget giving this boy a chance.
First priority will go to someone who lives in the twin cities metro in order to bring to a vet visit. Please put in your application on our website mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org.
