My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Goldie is an approximately 3 year old quiet beauty. Much like the story of the Virgin Mary, she unexpectedly found herself in a family way. She was all alone and had her babies, Myrrh and Frank(incense) outside. Lucky for her, a kind wise woman brought them inside and gave her the gift of safety and a warm place to raise her kittens.

Goldie is now ready to pay it forward and offer someone a lifetime of cute kitty love. She is a little shy at first but is beginning to seek out scratches and is purring. Her foster mom thinks she will continue to blossom as she is playful and sweet. Her markings are unique and she has a fabululous gray tail. She's great with the litter box, enjoys toys, looking out the window and loves the sink and the bathtub. She is not afraid of the mellow dog and enjoys playing with the other cat.

Goldie has been spayed, microchip and vaccinated.

Everyone MUST submit an application to be considered for adoption

Interview

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

Home Check

This is required. We want to see where the pet will be living and it gives us an opportunity to meet you!

Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
