Look at Miss Kira! This beautiful girl is approaching her 1st birthday and would love to find her forever family whose she's been patiently waiting for.

Kira came to us when she was found abandoned outside in her crate on New Years. Did this crush her fearless, loving, and trusting deamenor? No! Kira loves all people and gets along well with other dogs. Kira does coexist with cats but is prone to chase without redirection.

Kira does require a fenced in yard and a home with older children. Kira would love to belong to an active, dog savvy family that can provide her with the physical and mental stimulation she needs.

Kira is doing great with her crate and house training.

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
