Meet the Pet
Arlo & Dixie are a cross post for the Richardson Animal Shelter. They are currently in a foster home and ar available for adoption. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. For more information, please contact Kathy Estes @ 972-979-6981 or kestes71@yahoo.com.
Arlo & Dixie are approximately 6-year-old female lab mixes. Dog Friendly! They are a bonded pair and are best friends; it's really like watching one dog! While in foster, they have had access to a dog door. Dixie prefers to spend her afternoon sunning herself outside, while Arlo lays inside by the door watching in case a squirrel enters the perimeter. They're house and crate trained and acually don't mind the vacuum or thunderstorms. They are both confident dogs, but they definitely love their humans. They love bones and toys and are still energetic for being 6. The foster doesn't have other dogs in the home, so a meet and greet would be required if adopter has other dogs, they have done play dates and done well. They are not cat friendly, but they are very kid friendly.
