My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Let's spring into the warmer weather together, just you and me! Vixen here, and I am a tricolour happy girl just under 8 years old who adores attention, pets, and brushing sessions! I am soft and snuggly, but will also give you your space and do my own thing! I would love a home with a kitty condo where I can watch the birds fly by and keep an eye on the outdoor squirrels. I'm selective about feline friends but with the right introduction might be ok. I am currently on a urinary diet that I will need to remain on to keep me happy and healthy.

I can't wait to read all my adoption applications, available below!

Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here:  https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/

Please Note:

If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed.

About Ten Lives:

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.

Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!

All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
