Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ten and her mother Sweety came to us together. Ten the blonde is Sweetys daughter. She is 3-4 yrs old and has spent her whole life in one home and now her owner is no longer able to care for her. Ten is having a rough time. We are looking for a new home for her with foster or adoptive. She is good with other dogs but such a large group ie my dogs,is too many. Great with people and raised with kids, quite well behaved. Great alert dog too. Walks good on lead. Ten is a little needy with people,loves to snuggle and definitely needs to be separated from her mother who is very dominant over her. Away from her mom, she is a delightful little dog, likes to play and good with other dogs. Loves to sleep on the bed.. Will be a great companion dog!!!! We require potential adopters to fill out an Adoption Application.When that is approved we can arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the dog they are interested in. We do require an adoption contract to be signed at time of adoption. We have a virtual home-check process (don't forget to submit photos of the exterior of your home!) Adoption fees range depending on the age of the dog. We do have dogs located at qualified fosters throughout the state and also out of state.

Since all rescue dogs live in foster homes, there is no single facility to meet pups.

You will need to contact Ewenity Farms HDH to make arrangements to meet the rescue dog after you have an approved app on file. Apps can be filled out at ewenityfarm.org

More about this rescue

We are a small, foster-based rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one-on-one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.

It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.
