Sweety and her daughter came to us together. She is 6 yrs old and has spent her whole life in one home and now her owner is no longer able to care for her. Sweety is having a rough time. We are looking for a new home for her with foster or adoptive. She is good with other dogs but such a large group ie my dogs,is too many. Great with people and raised with kids, quite well behaved. Great alert dog too. Walks good on lead. Sweety is much more confident with people and other dogs and is adjusting well to her new situation. We have noticed she loves to spend her time outdoors, so perhaps they lived outdoors. Currently we have them in a pen indoors and she is doing great. Anyone out there that can take Sweety along with her daughter?? separation is possible but would prefer they go together. No issues between the two, I think Sweety would be okay without Ten. They will need wellness visits hw tests and some shots, which we pay for. Right now they are just needing a quiet place to adjust to so they can move forward with their lives. We require potential adopters to fill out an Adoption Application.When that is approved we can arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the dog they are interested in. We do require an adoption contract to be signed at time of adoption. We have a virtual home-check process (don't forget to submit photos of the exterior of your home!) Adoption fees range depending on the age of the dog. We do have dogs located at qualified fosters throughout the state and also out of state.

Since all rescue dogs live in foster homes, there is no single facility to meet pups.

We are a small, foster-based rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one-on-one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.
It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.
