Meet Caleb, a handsome 2-year-old male weighing 41 lbs. Caleb arrived at the shelter on March 24, 2024, after being found as a lost boy with no one to reclaim him. He's a gentle soul, a bit reserved but incredibly sweet once he warms up to you. Caleb is quite the obedient pup, knowing commands like sit, stay, shake, offer his paw, and lay down. He's currently residing at Run #54, eagerly awaiting his forever home. Caleb has been neutered and will be microchipped before adoption. Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
