This beautiful girl is Sadie. She is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd mix and approx 45lbs.

She was returned to the shelter because her previously owner had no breed experience and failed to keep her mentally/physically stimulated for her breed.

Sadie is such a smart girl and is great with people and dogs.

Based on her previous experiences, we require that her future home have breed experience and experience with timid dogs.

She would do best in a home with older kids, ideally adults only.

To meet Sadie, please apply at https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.html

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We do not do adoption events. Most of our dogs are in foster homes. We prefer to set up meet and greets once an application is approved.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers in Southern California, primarily in Orange County dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned animals. We care for strays, abandoned animals, victims of abuse, and rescue most from euthanization in animal shelters across the world.
