My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Heidi came to us from the streets of Stockton. She is small and a bit shy, but with patience she will come out of her shell. Heidi is looking for a loving family willing to help her to open up and become her true beautiful cat self. Are you the family she is looking for?

NOTE: OKR kittens come to us from backyards, barns, bushes, garages, shelters, and the streets. We help them heal physically and emotionally, so they are ready for their furever homes. Most of our kittens are under a year old, with a few adults available. We expose many OKR kittens to dogs, other cats, toddlers, and the dreaded vacuum! After three vaccines, our kittens are welcome into the kitten clubhouse, where they meet all their new friends.

Some of our kittens are spayed/neutered before adoption. If the kitten you choose is not yet spayed/neutered, we will notify you of the next available surgery date and the cost is covered as part of the adoption fee.

We want our adopters to have every opportunity to bond with their new fur baby. We have the FOSTER TO ADOPT PROGRAM that allows you to adopt a kitten before it has been spayed/neutered and has all three FVRCP vaccines. To adopt a kitten, the adoption fee must be paid and the kitten must be taken to the rescue for vaccines and a spay/neuter appointment.

Our goal is to send you home with a healthy, happy, well-cared-for kitten, so we offer more services to accomplish that goal. Each kitten will receive 3 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, parasite and flea treatments, a nail trim, and microchipped.

Adoption Fee: $200 with a few exceptions of breed and color from $225-$325 as listed.

If you want to place a HOLD on any kitten, the NON-REFUNDABLE hold fee is 50% of the adoption fee. We will then remove the listing and hold the kitten for you. Please send a text message to the numbers below to set up a meet and greet. Showings are by appointment only and hosted (almost) every Saturday and Sunday. Our rescue is in Northern CA (Manteca) and we do not transport out of state. If you would like to set up a meet and greet with a kitten or have questions, please text (209) 825-5685 for Lisa or  510-299-2031 for Jessica.

Additional adoption info

Adoption Instructions:
To initiate the adoption process for a kitten of interest, kindly complete the attached application form. Subsequently, we will coordinate a meet-and-greet session. Once both parties agree that the chosen cat is a suitable match, we will proceed to finalize your application, facilitating the process for you to bring your new kitten home.

In the event that the selected kitten is too young for immediate adoption but you are committed to welcoming them into your home, we offer the option to secure their reservation. A non-refundable deposit of $175 can be made, resulting in the removal of the kitten from all online platforms within 48 hours. This reserved status ensures that the kitten is held exclusively for you.

For those interested in exploring alternative adoption arrangements, we encourage inquiries about our foster-to-adopt program. This program provides prospective adopters with a unique opportunity to experience the joys of fostering before making a permanent commitment.

We appreciate your interest in our adoption process and look forward to assisting you in welcoming a new furry companion into your home.
