Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mister Hound is an absolute doll baby. He is sweet and affectionate, bouncy and playful. He loves everyone that he meets and is great with other dogs. He is totally crate trained and fully potty broke. He was adopted into a lovely home that adores him, however they have to let him go because he has a severe stake startle reflex when sleeping. Due to his traumatic past before coming into rescue, he reacts suddenly when startled awake and will bite. Due to this behavior his family is concerned for the safety of unpredictable young children. We are seeking a home with older children or no children.

They currently are fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, preventatives and are microchipped (with lifetime registration). More about this rescue

Stray Haven provides homes, as foster space allows, for dogs and puppies. We primarily focus on pulling dogs and puppies from independent rescuers who have little resources to secure the vetting and homes that these precious babies so desperately need. Some counties in rural areas don't have access to a county run shelter or facility and these independent rescuers are breaking their backs trying to make sure that dogs aren't starving or freezing after abandonment.

In addition to taking in these dogs and puppies, our outreach continues to help independent rescuers by providing education, exposure for the animals in their care and donations when possible to support their cause.
