My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted Lou when he was just about a year old. He had been in 3 homes prior to us and his last home had a senior dog that attacked him often - we believe this is the reason Lou can sometimes have issues with other dogs.

Lou is a sweet boy., very affectionate, protective and loving. He does well on a leash and will walk next to you off-leash when he understands his surroundings. He is extremely protective of his owner/family and will make sure you're aware of anyone approaching you or your home.

Like all Mastiff's, he needs help getting to know strange dogs on his turf. In public he can be nervous or act aggressive toward other dogs but will relax once he understands that everything is ok.

Lou has been our best friend for over 7 yrs and we are heartbroken to have to re-home him. He will make a great addition to any loving family that understands large breed dogs.

Lou lives with Jett (see her profile on this site) and we would love see them adopted together if possible.
