My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I love getting pets!

Please check here for updated adoption hours.

Need some biscuits for your breakfast? I'm an expert kneader!

Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!

I have been known to shower my favorite people in love!

Beauty interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience and demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.

A volunteer writes: Beauty sits right up front in her kennel, her eyes following each person who comes and goes, waiting patiently for someone to notice her. When a group of volunteers are chatting by her kennel, you can see that she feels part of the group, listening intently to every word they say. She just loves people. She knows she's a beauty in the bloom of youth, but she's very modest about it. When I was finally able to visit her, she welcomed me with profuse cheek and head rubs. She wanted to climb in my lap and she wouldn't take no for an answer; how could I deny her, a lap cat must have a lap. Beauty has it all, beauty (of course), personality, and a calm and warm way about her. The one thing she is missing, that she wants most of all, is the thing you can give her, a home with a loving companion or family. She's waiting for you to come along.

My foster writes: Beauty is an extremely sweet cat that does not bite or scratch whatsoever. She constantly wants attention and pets and will run up to you to show her affection. She's extremely tidy and is a huge cuddler. Makes plenty of biscuits when she is content.

My other foster writes:
Avoidant and shy in new environments, but as she warms up can be very vocal and affectionate. She keeps to herself for the most part. A quiet home with plenty of time at home to keep her company would be ideal. No children would be best as she's easily started with sudden movements that will prompt her to hide.
