My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Note: Mousey is deaf and sister Vega is hearing.  She is his guide-cat and interpreter!

Mousey is bonded with his sister Vega. Mousey is a 3 year old male cat. He is deaf in both ears but that doesn’t stop him in the slightest. He loves to cuddle and be pet. If you stop he will tell you to keep petting him. He’s a lover not a fighter. He has lived with dogs, isn’t a super fan of them but can definitely coexist well with them. Most of the time Mousey is in his own world and finds funny was to entertain himself around the house. He loves bird watching and singing by the window.

Vega is 1.5 years and is bonded with her brother Mousey. Vega (Vay-gah) is a very sweet but shy kitty. She tends to take her time warming up to new people. Vega loves to hang out on the couch and sleep on your chest. She loves running around with Mousey and chasing him around. She also loves to play with her toys and hide them under furniture to play with later. She has a weird love for plastic bags, she’s just a quirky girl. Vega and Mousey need someone who is willing to give lots of love in their forever home.  Indoor only.  $300 rehoming fee for this beautiful pair.

More about this rescue

Cat's Cradle Rescue keeps cats out of shelters by offering an alternative to a cage - we are a no-kill FOSTER-HOME BASED rescue group that welcomes cats to our home environments as they await adoption.

Why Foster Care? Does your new kitty like children? Does she play with dogs or find other felines too uncomfortable to be around? Does he have consistent litter-box manners? Does he want to cuddle or perhaps his comfort zone is to be more independent. Many life-factors influence cat behavior and while genetics plays a role, we know that human touch, kindness, nurturing and consistency of care are non-negotiable requirements. We provide all of this.
