My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Sadie

Gender: Female

Age: 1 year

Current Weight: 40lbs

Expected Adult Size: Medium

Breed: Shiba Inu mix

Energy Level: Medium to high, but calms down once inside.

Dog Friendly: Yes, she would love a playful dog sibling!

Cat Friendly: No cats, please.

Kid Friendly: Yes to kids ages 6 and older. She can be a little jumpy when excited.

Physical Fence Requirement: Physical fence preferred, but not required.

Crate Trained: Yes

Potty Trained: Yes

Ideal Home/Adopter: Sadie would do best with a fenced in yard, a dog sibling to play with and an active family. She loves to have fun!

Likes: She LOVES her people, chew bones, playing with her foster siblings and running!

Additional Considerations: Sadie is crate trained, potty trained and walks well on a leash.

What makes this dog special: Sadie is very affectionate and will give kisses until you make her stop! Faces, ears and inside your nose aren't safe from her kisses, but you can't help but laugh and feel special.

Sadie's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. If you are interested in Sadie, apply at rescuedohio.org to become an approved adopter and a meet & greet can be set up once approved.

More about this rescue

RESCUEDohio was founded on August 1, 2015 by a group of dedicated animal lovers in the central Ohio area. The founders came from various different vocational backgrounds, but all have one thing in common: the passion to save dogs. Before starting RESCUEDohio, they were previously involved in different aspects of rescue, including fostering, fundraising, coordinating and training. The mission of this group is to help find homes for unwanted and abandoned dogs and to advocate for the rights of all animals everywhere.
