My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

GAINESVILLE, TEXAS:

FOSTER, FOSTER TO ADOPT OR ADOPTION

PLEASE EMAIL ASDRESCUE@GMAIL.COM FOR MORE INFORMATION

Meet Tex! He is a neutered male German Shepherd mix, estimated DOB May 2020. Tex was found chained to an oil derrick. We have no idea how long he was there or what he has endured but he has scars on his legs and he lost one of his eyes due to a past injury that was never treated.

In spite of all of this hardship, Tex remains a super sweet boy. He is friendly with people and is good with other dogs. He's still very skinny but is otherwise healthy.

Tex is looking for either a foster, foster-to-adopt or an adoptive home. He is such a sweet boy and is going to make a really awesome best friend!

Transport assistance within 1000 miles may be available depending on where you live and the availability of volunteer drivers along the route

Secure fencing with minimum height of 4 feet is required on all adoptions.

Most Anatolians are not well suited to apartment living.
