My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gorgeous ! Striking ! Sculpted! Regal! All words that accurately describe Lucy. Lucy's mom is a full blooded lab and her dad is a flat coated retriever . She is 7 months old and spayed , UTD on vaccinations, heartworm negative. Lucy knows basic commands, she's very smart and she's house trained and kennel trained . She's being fostered by a family in Memphis, Tn . Once an application has been submitted and approved we would be happy to speak with you and answer any questions you might have about her . Transport is arranged through Rescue Vet Transport and they travel to the northeast each weekend , leaving Memphis, Tn around 6 am Friday mornings and delivering newly adopted pets. They travel as far north as West Greenwich RI. Transport is an additional $185. We have included the link below to our adoption application

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts right here – you finding yourself your new best friend and family member. Once you have found one of these beautiful souls we ask that you complete an adoption application.

Once the application has been approved, the selection process begins. As with any adoption, we want to ensure our dogs are going into the best fit home – not only for them, but for you as well. Pet adoption is a big commitment and we want to make sure these dogs don’t endure anymore hardships than they already have.

The final step in the adoption process is the spay/neuter contract (assuming the puppy is too young or unable to be spayed or neutered at the time of adoption).

Once the adoption process has been finalized and we have received payment, we will make reservations for transport to your area. **Please note: Most of our dogs are fostered in Memphis, TN - our transport runs about once every other week to the Midwest.**

More about this rescue

We are a rescue based out of Memphis, Tennessee with fosters and chapters in various parts of the United States. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home as many homeless pets in the mid-south as we possibly can to save them from euthanasia. Their only fault...there are just too many. The euthanasia rate in this city is a staggering 79%. We watch perfectly healthy, well-adjusted pets be euthanized daily because there simply are not enough homes for them all. The solution...stronger spay/neuter laws and education but until then, these pets deserve a future too!
