My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Meet Coco: A gorgeous shy, Quiet Girl Waiting Patiently for the Perfect Family"

Hi there, my name is Coco and I'm a cute 9 month old Gray Domestic Shorthair cat. I may be a little shy at first, but don't let that fool you. I have a heart of gold and I'm looking for a patient and understanding family who can help me learn to trust people. I have a gorgeous smokey gray coat that I know will catch your eye! But what truly makes me special is my quiet and gentle personality. I may need some time to feel comfortable around new people. That's why I'm searching for a quiet and gentle home where I can feel safe and loved. If you have a calm and patient household, I know we'll make the perfect match.

So, what do you say? Want to come meet me and see if we click? I can't wait to find my forever family and show them just how much love I have to give. Hurry and come visit me, I'll be waiting!

If you are interested in meeting me, please contact the Humane Society of Sedona at (928) 282-4679. I am fixed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and ready to go home with you, so please come visit me!

Please call between 10am-4pm to schedule an appointment to meet one of our animals! 928-282-4679

More about this shelter

Our Vision - Be Our Heart & Voice
Building a caring community where every adoptable and treatable pet finds a life-long loving home.

Our Mission
The Humane Society of Sedona is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets in our community and beyond. The Society has served the Verde Valley since 1966.

The Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals at the society is designed to allow every person, who desires the love of a pet, to adopt and provide a forever loving home. The Center provides quality care and positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable pets. Passionate volunteers help walk and socialize the pets in our care. Foster pet parents are an important part of caring for pets outside the Center.

The Society provides vital services for pets and people alike through income-based affordable spay/neuter surgeries and vaccination clinics. Also, for families in need to feed their pets, we have a Pet Food Program.

Another public resource is our adult and youth educational programs.

The Society relies on community support, contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Society’s thrift stores and some fees for service in order to save pets’ lives.
