Zoe Local is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home!
Just look at this beauty!
Zoe is a beautiful yellow & white lab/mixed breed, who’s just about 1 year old. She’s on the smaller side for her breed, weighing just about 45 lbs.
Zoe’s a super sweet & friendly girl who loves meeting new people! She’ll happily roll over for a belly rub from whomever will give her one. She walks well on a leash & loves going on long walks & being included on family adventures. Zoe still has lots of puppy energy & enjoys running free in a fenced area. She good with kids too, but is still a bit jumpy & monthly, so toddlers aren’t recommended.
Zoe's had limited exposure to other dogs. She enjoys playing with other dogs, but is a bit dog selective. Being a passive, playful dog, Zoe seems to prefer dogs that are submissive & playful. She may need to be fed separately.
She’s an affectionate pup who loves attention from people & can’t wait to find her family!

Their adoption process

Submit Application

Submitting an adoption application is free and is the best way to show that you are interested in a specific pet!

2.
Interview

An adoption coordinator will contact you by email within 48 hrs to set up an interview and go over your application

Home Check

Virtual Home Check

4.
Approve Application

Once your application is approved, you will receive a pre-approval letter which is valid for 6 months as you search for the perfect pet!

5.
Meet the Pet

We provide meet and greets for pre-approved applicants and their families.

Sign Adoption Contract

Additional adoption info

An application with vet/landlord reference check and virtual home visit is required.

The adoption donation amount of $550 is fully refundable if the dog you choose is not the right fit for your family within the first seven (7) days. Every dog is fully vetted, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped with lifetime registration.
