I found Otis on the side of the road just outside of South Padre Island, Texas. I was there on vacation so I had to drop him off at a shelter. He was so sweet and surprisingly trusting for a spray so I ended up going back to get him a week later. Since I am a college student, I don’t have the time or resources to care for him and want him to go to a home that is able to give him everything he needs and deserves.
The vets estimate Otis is about a year old. He appears to be some sort of Doberman/German Shepherd mix, but we don’t know for sure. He is up to date on all his vaccines but is currently underweight. He is only 40 pounds.
Otis is an incredibly sweet, smart, and loving dog. He is still scared of certain things which is to be expected with a stray, but he has already started making so many strides. He loves going on walks and being with people. The main reason I want to rehome him is simply because I can’t provide the time, money, and resources he deserves.
